Yorkshire is campaigning to bring back our well loved Good King Richard home  for a decent burial among those who have always been loyal to his memory and who love and respect him .He is the only King ever to have lived most of his life in the north and to have cared about the North .Most people who are campaiging for this dont live near York ,for us its not about money but respect
Leicester have shown him neither

I started sewing and costume making only a few years ago. So far the 'historically accurate' part of my costume is not there but slowly I am learning about it. Your gallery is very inspiring. I will surely have a look at your blog as well. :)

Hi
My first costumes were not compleatly accurate ,I think its way more important to enjoy making them and have something great to look at ,rather than worring about accuracy straight away ,,its also usualy much cheaper to make costumes if your not having to buy expensive wool and silk fabrics ,I still use good quality faux silk for work clothes because its much easier to clean ,,,theres a page on my blog on making "cheats gowns " using bought bodices, because I really want people to realise its not that hard to make costumes
